Now I wish I hadn't waited so long to try and acquire a Beta Token since I had such a great time playing this last night.

I was able to upgrade to the red dot for the MP5 and the M16...what a difference. I'll probably try and get on later tonight as well so I can upgrade the scope on the M4 as well.

There seems to be a bug or something that some pros are exploiting. A few times playing last night some guy sniped me from across the map with an M5 with red dot. I dont think that should normally be possible...

The M4 has a pretty long range. The red dot makes it easy to line up so lucky ridiculous range shots aren't that uncommon (or lucky for that matter).

And TNA got an invite? Uh oh. Should we expect him to create a new list of people he has knifed?

As an addendum to that, the knife attack needs nerfed so badly. The person lunges like they have a sword in Halo 2. I have no problems with it being an instant kill, but there shouldn't be a 10 foot lunge.

Do you mean M4 with the red dot or MP5 with the red dot. I could see it with the M4. I've hit people from the top of that high building in Crash from across the map. But the MP5 is different. It takes about 20 rounds to kill someone with that POS.

I cant remember. I think it was the M5 because everyone on my team was griping about it. I cant verify that though--im a noob.

Well there is no M5. There's an MP5 and an M4. Well there is an M5 but it's made by BMW and there are no drivable vehicles in this game. :)

Played a bit today but it kept sticking me in games that were moments from ending. It was getting pretty aggravating.

I forgot to mention - I was playing the other night when my wife got home. She was amazed at the clarity of the graphics; she normally doesn't comment on that kind of thing.

Oh yeah, i'm sure something can be arranged when the thing launches and we can do custom games. :D

edit: And there are a few of us 8BB who will most likely be able to hold our own on the fields of CoD4. Perhaps as i used to rule all y'all on the fields of Vossenack. :D

I just downloaded the beta today and have no idea what I'm doing. So far I can hold my own in the free-for-all but get my rear handed to me in team vs. team match-ups. I'm too much of a spaz for any of the nice weapons so I pretty much just rampage around with an AK-47 and a knife.

XBox Live Gamertag is mugwumps and I'm up for some serious schooling. I'm usually on after 10 or so Pacific Time.
