For the most part I'm good at platformers. When my sister got a N64 for christmas I beat Mario 64 FOR her. I fancied myself good at 2D fighters (mostly SF) but recently I've been playing more Guilty Gear, and slowly getting back into SF: Third Strike. When it comes to 3D fighters the only game I can claim anything on is the Soul Calibur series. There were nights I didnt sleep because I had to fight "one more match". Lately none of my friends want to play anymore and so I've had to look to the local arcade, and my 360 to get in some good fights....or get my ass handed to me :lol:

I suck equally at all of them. I have yet to finish Super Mario Bros WITH the cheats ON (invincibility, infinite time, etc).

Streetfighter. Any version. I'm unbeatable.

LordZep, nice that you're in the hometown of the current PAPA tournaments. (The only sad thing is that it has replaced Pinburgh.) I missed this past year, but was there in '05. My trophy is a slightly older one--not the new globes, but the tall ones with the casting of a pinball machine/player on top. I'll have to get a pic posted. ;)

Not many. The first one that comes to mind is Max Payne 2, which I've finished several times on the hardest skill level without saving or dying.

I can still pick up pretty much any Activision game for the 2600 and far surpass the "mail-in patch" level. I should mail in some screenshots and see if there's a time limit on that offer.

I'm an avid gamer of COD2 and the new mod maps coming out are absolutely great. Too bad IW has pretty much left this game to rot...

Yes, pretty much. My clan (It's [MC] as known as MC Gamers) dropped the Call of Duty division last year. But the clan still support two other games (AAO and WoW).

F-Zero 64 - only 1 of my friends was somewhat competitive

Back in the old days, I think most gamers probably had a few games they were really good at and would beat all their friends. But these days, at least for me, a quick trip online is enough to disuade me of any particular illusions of grandeur.
