GRAW2 or LP-nope it's COD2

Hello

I had the thread LP or GRAW2 but when it came down to the final decision I ended up with COD2. My question is before I break it open did I make the right choice?

I went back and looked at old and new games from Crackdown, Marvel Ultimate, GRAW2, LP, Fear and others but totally forgot about COD series. I even was set on getting Earth Defense Force based on how fun everyone over at XBL is saying this is. From what I read on past posts almost everyone thought COD2 was better overall and in single player. I still see some here playing COD2 MP so that's why I went with it. Plus it fits in with my other games, Gears and RS:LV.

Even with my rewards coupons ($30) I just couldn't justify $60 total for the likes of COD3, LP and GRAW2 based on the reviews.

FWIW, COD2: GOY Edition was on sale for $13 and change a couple of weeks ago at Circuit City.

You made a good choice. COD2 is by far one of my favs. Beat single player on Veteran and you will feel like you accomplished something..

Have fun!

definitely a good choice especially considering price. You can always pick up the others later when they price drop.

I had fun with COD 2 and need to get back to it.

Didn't stick with it as long as I have with LP, but its a great game.

COD2 is still my fave out of the bunch (I don't have Lost Planet though).

I love the kill-cam and karma kills in this game. Good choice.

Thanks a bunch gang. I was worried that it being somewhat old it wasn't up to the current crop of games. When I had the XBox I played Medal of Honor and Brothers In Arms and thought both were great. I think there's a "thing" for war games as it was real and not some futuristic sci-fi deal. So I'll crack it open and give it a go and hope to join some MP later on. Thanks again.
