I'm still sitting at the beginning of level 7. I don't have far to go. |
I'm in the same boat. I did the first Pit and am at the beginning of world 8. Crackdown/Halo 3 and Guitar Hero II are sucking up all my game time. I do want to finish Paper Mario before Resident Evil 4 gets released.

I just picked this up the other day (my Wii too) and I'm really enjoying it. So I'm at the point where I have to work off my "debt" for breaking the 1000000 Ruppee vase. Kind of a strange thing to put in the game, but I'm sure there's a shortcut somewhere.

I'm ready to start 8-1, but should I do the pit first to build up my level?

I am so sick of having to talk to each of the 100 minions on level 6 (both before AND after the incredibly easy fight) I've only gotten to around 15, but each time I get bored or tired and just shut it down. It was just so annoying to have to spend 20-30 seconds talking to these guys, and 10 seconds or less of fighting them. So, about how long in total do I need to carve out for this level? 30 minutes? an hour?
|
Hmm, I think it was about 10 minutes, maybe shorter. Its not as bad as it seems.
|
Yeah, I was in the same boat with that level... but then...
Spoiler:
I just used Bowser and started blowing fire to start each fight. 9 out of 10 times they were defeated quickly. |

I stocked up before the Pit and barely made it through. If the final room/boss hit me one more time I was dead and that was hours wasted. I wouldn't have done it again if I had died but the payoff was worth it, for nostalgia.

Ok, I got through the samurai level...
Spoiler:
I just got put into the underworld (or whatever) but it was late so I shut it off after I saved. |

The underworld wasn't too bad... now I'm off to find the next heart pillar!
|
its good but not as fun as the last 2 in my opinion. still a must buy for the wii tho

I finally got around to finishing this over the weekend... have been on World 8-2 for about 2 months without desire to finish...
I'm glad it's over. I will say that the first half of the game was MUCH more enjoyable than the 2nd half... the challenge hit a plateau and i felt like i was doing the same things i had already done to solve "different" puzzles. the final boss Spoiler:
all in all one of the better Wii games, but not the masterpiece that Paper mario: thousand year door was. thoughts? |
