This should probably be a sticky, otherwise it's just going to get lost.

I just beat Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 today. Great little game. I have 79 gold stars though. Spent about an hour so far on the Floor 8 DK boss. Can't seem to get the gold on that one. Probably time to move on.

Since MS added a few XBOX games to the 360 BC list:

Playing:

Star Wars:Republic Commando(Xbox)...finished it before but worth the replay because it's a fun game.

On Deck:

Panzer Dragon Orta(Xbox)... started playing this but never finished it when I got stuck ona rather difficult level. I later traded it. I'm going to buy it again and give it another chance. The game looked amzing and was fun to play.

I beat Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus last weekend, and now I'm knee-deep in Sly 2: Band of Thieves. I'm going to try to finish it up this weekend.

Completed Games of 2007

Nintendo DS

Mario Kart - Grade A. It's about as done as it's going to get with me. I have at least 2 stars for each course and at least 2 stars for each mission. I'm not going to break my fingers trying to get 3 stars for everything.

Working on:

The New Super Mario Bros: I've just really gotten started. I'm on World 2

Pile of Shame

Nothing yet. I don't play much

I beat Sly 2, but instead of going on to Sly 3, I've decided to take a break from the series and start on Prince of Persia: Sands of Time instead. Also, I've just opened up Chapter 7 on Super Paper Mario.

Beat Sly 3, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and Super Paper Mario this week. I'm about halfway through Lego Star Wars and getting ready to start on Ratchet & Clank. I still haven't made a dent in my Pile of Shame though. I've just been playing the games that I've been buying. I suppose that's some progress though.

Another month is here. Just finished Lair, my 47th completed game this year. Looks like I may make Metroid Prime 3 #50 after finishing up Lost Planet(48) and Bioshock(49).

Although I'm also into Lemmings, Motorstorm and may start a new GBA game so that may screw up my numbering.

I just updated my list today after beating Bioshock, but I didn't want to be the one to bump this thread again.

Whoo hoo. 50 games completed this year. Actually that's kinda scary. That's a lot of damn gaming, 1.35 per week to be more specific.

I'm also near the end on Lost Planet and Castlevania and halfway through Mark of Kri. 60 is coming like a bullet, with Metroid, God of War and Halo 3 on deck.

I don't know how you find the time or steel to play so many games, let alone beat them.

My wife works third shift 3 nights a week and the kids are in bed by 9. All my television shows are in repeats still so no wasting time watching tv. I literally watch zero tv during the summer. Some DVDs here and there, but that's not the same as 6 hours of programming weekly during the tv season, so gaming will definitely take a hit in a few weeks.

Add to that I usually stay up until 1, so from roughly 9pm-1am I game on those days. So that's an easy 10-12 hours a week. Then I also work close to home so I go home on my hour long lunch breaks and game a little or bring the DS along for some action at work. Not that it's all I do every day, but helps explain why my list is so long.

As for finishing them, I don't play a game unless I intend to finish it. What's the point in that? I find most of them fairly easy, playing on the default setting, with touches of difficult parts. Nothing insurmountable. I wouldn't say I breeze through them either, with the exception of my first month of Gamefly, which those were mostly filler in August.

Resident Evil 4 (Wii)....10/2/07

I finally finished a RE game The Wii control scheme had A LOT to do with me finishing this game. As most know Capcom's RE series always had crappy controls. Now I guess I'll tackle RE 5(360) when it hits. To be honest, the Wii controls have spoiled me so we'll see how that goes....

Grade: A

So, just a few weeks left of the year. What's everyone trying to finish up before the new year?

I only have a few levels left of Ratchet & Clank Future, which I'll probably knock out before jumping back into Mario Galaxy. Also trying to beat Everyday Shooter which is super addictive. Possibly Zack & Wiki.

Was looking at my list and was a bit dissapointed that I didn't finish thing up in November, but it looks like I made up for this month. Working on Revenant Wings right now, but doubt I'll have that done before '08 rolls around.

Since I rent games, this doesn't really apply to me, but I was quite pleased that I actually beat a game for once.

Crackdown.

I want to polish off Dead Rising before the new year, but I just haven't been in the mood to play it yet.
