DamingR recommended Geometry Wars as a must buy game. I found the game boring and repetitive and wouldn't spend the points on it. I'm sure I have games I'd recommend that I love that he and others would state they hated. |

DigiTimes is reporting that the new 65nm GPUs (Xenos chips) are going to start manufacturing in May for a Fall release. http://www.digitimes.com/bits_chips/a20070430PB208.html
Is there any sort of confirmation on the actual 65nm CPUs (Xenon chips)? Funny how this news starts to come out THE DAY AFTER the Elite hits. |

^ I hope so. I'd imagine the CPU and GPU would be released simultaneously. I've waited this long for a 360 - I can wait for this revision. I just hope it includes the HDMI port as well.

Wait, the Marvel pack is out?

Triple feature this week on the Live Arcade - www.videogametalk.com has the details. :-)

I might check out Catan.... it's funny, just last week a friend of mine and his wife were talking about playing Settlers, and I remembered it from this thread.
|
Oh i will be checking out Catan. I played it for the first time over easter with my family, it was a blast.
|
Yep, I've talked to a few people like that: http://www.penny-arcade.com/images/2007/20070430.jpg

Oh yes! Settlers! Finally! Woooooooo!

How bad would Centipede suck in wide-screen? The game is a pillar-box ratio-game, so unless you play it sideways, you'd have to put up with some huge bars on the sides. And that's not even mentioning the lack of a track-ball, which is what makes Cenitpede fun in the first place.
|
my 360 froze on me once. I've had it for about 1 1/2 months now.
Is this something to worry about? or is it normal for it to freeze every now and then? |

No track ball does seem odd though. |

Have had a great time so far with Hulk and Venom. (Note that these same characters will be included with the upcoming Marvel UA Gold Edition.) |
