While I do find the song amusing, I'm thinking this thread is going to fall into console bashing territory.

Well I own a PS3 and still found it funny so if it offends anyone sorry peeps.

I found it pretty damn funny.

Clever satire should never be construed as console bashing. Bravo!

The oddest thing in that slideshow is when they show a Premium 360 with an HD-DVD add on, then cut to a PS3 with "$$" superimposed on it. The former has a total MSRP of $599.98, the latter $599.99. :hscratch:

Well, for one thing, if you watch the console news fairly close, the jokes are old... So, if you have to listen the same thing over and over, it's not funny anymore.

That doesn't really make it tasteless though.

Right. Tasteless would be showing Ken Kutaragi with devil horns biting the head off of a baby.

Song is much better than the PS3 one, but the video portion isn't very good.

"How you killed your brand" still has the edge though since, other than the PS3Grill it stuck to facts, statistics and quotes and didn't resort to lame potshots:

-Better games? That's your opinion but remember. 360 has been out for over a year longer than PS3.

- Xbox live? fair enough but we got home and its free.

- Microsoft... untrustable. They should stick to making softwares and let the professionals make the hardwares...

and Bill Gates with a Nazi flag? Seriously? I'm an apple guy, but come on, that is beyond retarded.

So in the end it is just short of great. The video is what hurts it.

I would say that's everyones opinion. I can't imagine even the most hardcore PS3 fanboy saying otherwise. The 360 does have a year lead though. I recently read that Square was waiting to release anything on PS3 until their install base grew though -- catch 22 -- cause their install base might grow with FFXIII.

Why everyone is excited about a Second Life knock-off still confuses me.
