Buying a console on craiglist
I'm considering picking up an xbox 360 premium on craig list.
some are selling them brand new and sealed.
what is the usual procedure?
since it is sealed, would you go to their place and have them break the seal and hook it up onto a tv to verify that it works? or do you just meet in the streets (i live in nyc) and exchange and pray that it works?

I bought my Wii from Craigslist. I was worried about getting ripped off. I met the guy at a Starbucks and then we brought the Wii to my car. I opened it up and looked at it. It definately looked factory sealed and everything appeared to be there. The guy gave me a copy of his Amazon receipt and his own personal receipt (i.e. I sold this Wii to ____ for $$$). I had the guy's phone number and email address, so I felt pretty good about not getting ripped off.
When I got home, I plugged it in and it worked. I then registered it with Nintendo for their free 90 day extended warranty. So far, no regrets.
