Daxter should be $20 by now at Blockbuster Gamerush. I recommanded whoever wanted this game..... wait a month or 3 months cos it'll be GH very soon.

MSA did came out... well, at least that's what i saw in TRU, a PSP case with MSA artwork and labeled at $39.99. It's too much for me, although i would love to have it in my collection.

Killzone

Yes, my hand is faster than my brain.

Forgot Burnout Legends, it is ridiculously awesome. And Outrun Coast 2 Coast.

I have only 2 games for the PSP. GTA was ok, but all I ever play is SOCOM:FTB online. I'm still on the fence about the changes made for FTB2.

I really enjoyed the GTA games, but mostly when I had a nice block of time to play which was usually not the case.

The game I've played most is probably WTF (Work Time Fun). Lots of crazy mini-games. I can play this for 5-min at a time, or for a couple of hours.

The truest definition of "ironic":

I was so excited to play the new R&C game that I went out at lunch and bought it, then when I got home, I popped it into the PSP and discovered that my UMD drive no longer recognizes any discs. As they say, it's like rain on your wedding day....

I would recommend Hot Shots Golf to your must have list.

Here are my favorite PSP games:

Burnout Legends
Genesis Collection (Phantasy Stars 2, 3, and 4, among others)
Hot Shots Golf
Lumines (don't have 2, though)
Power Stone collection (if you liked the Dreamcast ones)
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
Wipeout (not sure if you can still download the extra tracks)
X-Men Legends 2 (just like the console games)

Hoping to get Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and the new Ratchet game. Field Commander is also pretty fun, but I haven't played it that much yet. I've also been playing imports Kinnikuman legends and Gundam Battle Royale, but they're not really great games, I just like the licenses a lot.

I know the majority of these are basically ports, which is the big complaint about the PSP library, but to me playing these games on the go is great.

I see reports of UMD drives not recognizing discs occuring more frequently. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Could it be from playing too much?

Doubt it. I don't play that much and when I watch movies, it's off of the memory stick. I kept it in great condition, but I just came back from a road trip; perhaps it got jostled in the car? Anyway, at least I took it back to costco with all the old components and two games and got $320 back. That's enough for a new system, the (apparently necessary) Best Buy warranty, another copy of the Hot Shots Golf game I returned and still have $75 cash.

Wow! I wish I had a Costco near me. It sounds like they have the world's greatest return policy!
