Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, really all SMB games)
Remote Control (Come on you 80 kids, you would love it!)
Milon Secret Castle (Am I the only one that loved this?)
Any Game Show (just for the family fun of it)
Duck Hunt (if you can use the control like a gun, like in Wario Ware)

Lots of the games I want have already been mentioned. Never played Phantasy Star 4, I'd like to try that. Oh, and Herzog Zwei. And Landstalker.

Edit: What was the snes side-scroller/rpg game that had you in a japanese-like town, where you walk around fighting guys, there were ghosts, and you could buy different things in different shops. There was at least one sequel. That game was awesome and I'd like to play it again.

Stuff that isn't likely to be licensed out. SNES FF games. ChronoTrigger. Stuff like that.

Ninja Gaiden I & II, and Contra & Super C were my favorite NES games, with Blades of Steel and Tecmo Super Bowl close behind, would love to see any of those available for download. Gotta love those (pre-FMV) cinemas in Ninja Gaiden!

Battletoads (NES) - I doubt I'd be as good at this as I was when I was 14, but I still never finished it.

Mutant League Football and/or Hockey (GEN) - Great fun multiplayer games.

General Chaos (GEN) - SOOO much time wasted playing this game with friends, but I would almost require online multiplayer to reconnect with those friends.

Rock N' Roll Racing (SNES) - Ain't nothing like hearing Sabbath's Paranoid as the green flag drops!

Actraiser (SNES) - I always go back to this first when I hit my emulator.

Dragon Quest 5/6 (SNES) - Sure, this is never going to happen and if it did, I'd prefer the GBA or DS, but a guy can dream, right?

Is there a thread around here (or anywhere else) that announces what games have been added every Monday to the Virtual Console?

As for my picks...

Shadowgate - I have fond memories of this game. I walked into my weekly Shadowrun game and the GM was playing it. He was at the front door and had been there for 10 minutes. He was screaming "I'll give bonus karma to whoever gets me through this door!" I took one look and said "have you tried clicking the skull above the door?"
