Actually, it works on existing accounts. Go to http://checkout.google.com/signupbonus and follow the process as if you were signing up and simply reenter your same credit card info they already have on file and shop from there. Yeah.. Price now shows $49.99 and a release date of 3/5/07.

I received an email stating that the release date had changed and that my order would ship when it was released. So, there is still a chance that it will come at that point. But who knows. Would be nice at that price, but will have to see.

The ads in most B&M stores have it available tomorrow. Which means it should be at specialty gaming stores this afternoon.

My order got canceled because when I placed it, I used a credit card that expired between then and a week ago when it was canceled.

So, I lost my pre-order at that price.

If that's the case, we're all getting $20 at Circuit City tomorrow!

[But seriously, I already have a party planned around the release of the game tomorrow. If I am unable to pick the game up at Circuit City or Fry's for $39, heads will fucking roll.]
