Can I use my PS3 to stream media?
Is there a way to use the PS3 to stream media from a shared network drive on my computer? I'd love to be able to use the PS3 to play audio and video over my network.

What do you think this is, an XBOX 360
I was curious about this also....it sees like the PS3 has some catch-up to do...you would've thinked that they would've done some of this....ah well.
Sorry to get off topic...

Whao, I thought it could. I must say, being able to pull an album off my computer HD at any time and stream it over game content is a very nice feature. I'm suprised sometimes by the number of basic gameplay features the 360 has that the PS3 lacks. I'm sure patches will fix many of these issues. That's one of the main reasons I'm waiting until 2007 holiday season for this console.

Agreed - they have a lot of small features that seem useless to add. I love popping some music on the 360 then playing poker or lumines. Nothing like that on the PS3 yet I sure hope they do make changes like this.
