I thought the exact same thing. Why in the hell would you click the link, knowing that it was your pet peeve?

Not quite, it's my pet peeve to see the same story over and over again, I come here for different things not regurgitations from other sites.

I guess I have overestimated diggs penetration

check it out www.digg.com

For gaming ---> http://digg.com/view/gaming

Come on, I clicked b/c it was my pet peeve, otherwise I just agree with one of the above posters (the price is 60 b/c people will pay it (apparently 2 million of them))

If you don't like regurgitations, pick one site and stick to it. There is bound to be information that bleeds from site to site, especially if the news is major.

Doesn't make sense. If you already knew the information, knew that it was your pet peeve, you should have stayed away. That is, unless you like to annoy yourself.

I think you had better be ready to be pissed. Halo is their big title that they can charge whatever they want for and actually get it. Already something like 3 editions are planned with the biggest edition supposedly going to run 100$. I would predict 60$ and 70$ to be the other price points.

Of course Halo 3 will be $60. Every "big" game for 360 is gonna be $60 its not unheard of. I try my best to avoid paying $60 for a game and have been able to do so with still obtaining a few games. I don't understand video games have always been about $40-$60 when those brand new Burger King games are quite long, have good graphics, online capabilities and are $3.99.

Also this is becoming a problem throughout the forum, people just reposting digg top page stories, people don't come here for the same cookie cutter web links there are everywhere else

Wow. Not everyone trolls every corner of the internet. Some just come here for all their gaming needs. I've seen the article posted in a few places, did you go flame them for the hell of it?

Why not discuss it there? How about because I don't know those people. The people around here are regulars and a lot of us know each others taste and stance on gaming. I come here for like minded conversation from like minded people. Everyone around here is around the same age (roughly). From the few times I have checked out digg, the talkback was maybe a step above the Ain't It Cool News crowd. Maybe on par with imdb. I mean what do you expect for a site geared towards the G4 crowd? So pardon me for wanting a more civilized conversation with peers.

As for the article, and pricing, I have to agree with gimmiepilotwings. It is $60 because Microsoft proved last gen people were willing to pay that price. And in true fashion Sony is just following suit. Kudos for Nintendo "keeping it real."

That is like asking if Mario and Zelda will be ported to the 360 and PS3.

The Burger King games have online capabilities? Oh man, I hope Sneak King has a deathmatch mode.

No. Sneak King doesn't have an online mode. Only Big Bumping and Pocketbike Racers do.

Damn! Thanks for the info man. This game REALLY makes me want to go out and buy a 360 just to play it. Luckily my cousin has it so I have to make him take it when we meet on christmas or convince a friend to buy it

Oh please...not this again. I talked with a guy at work about Burger King a week ago. It was a 30 minute conversation and I feel that everything that needs to be said about Burger King was discussed. This post is just superflous and I dont come here to read about stuff I talked with someone else about at another time and place in a different context and which there is no way you had any knoweldge of.
So I would ask that everyone refrain from mentioning Burger King or any meat related topics.

when you put it that way I can see myself being swayed (a very well thought out comment) but then there are people like Jake who must resort to name calling because it is the only way they can express themselves.

But MC (other than jake who I really wouldn't consider a peer) I think your right actually
(although it’s still a little annoying seeing the same article everywhere)
