Regarding the Xbox wireless adapter...
I apologize in advance if someone already mentioned this. If you use MAC filtering in your network setup, make sure you use the MAC address for the console and NOT the adapter itself. It won't work. The instructions do not mention this but if you go to Xbox support website it does. I learned this the hard way after 2 days of trouble shooting.
Other than that, yes it is more pricey than other alternatives but I love how it looks like part of the console and it is very easy to setup.
