Okay - need a favor. I would like to attatch my XBOX 360 to XBOX live but it is in the living room and my only internet connection is in my office. So this leads me to my wireless question.
How do I connect wi-fi to XBOX live without buying the $100 adapter? I have: 1 XBOX 360 Premium 1 Verizon Fios connection/modem- which does have Wireless capability 1 Netgear wireless router What else do I need? Thanks! |

While i'm not crying out for super linear stuff i do like enough of a clear direction to know i'm advancing a primary storyline. Like Oblivion does - very open ended but one clear storyline with obvious tasks that will advance that particular line.
Word from an editor buddy of mine over at DailyGame.net is that the game is actually a LOT of fun to play. He just posted a preview which sounds really promising. |

You'd have to set it up on your PC first if it's not an Xbox one. That or you'd need a $100 Xbox360 USB one. Dunno if the other wireless dongles out there work or not. |

well, me buying the game from him would be a symbiotic relationship... |

$4.80/$3.60 for HD movie rentals is too expensive. $2.40 for TV episode purchase is too expensive. Especially considering that you are limited to playback on only the 360, and cannot be transferred for mobile playback. Then again, i still think the "Hello, my name is _______ and i play Halo for the story" line is still funny. ;) |

Personally I think that's unreasonably inconvenient. |

Looks like some 360 Guitar Hero information is coming out ... some of the bands have been announced (including Alice Cooper, Pearl Jam, My Chemical Romance, and Rick Derringer)

How does that make sense? To take out the disc upon powering off and on ? I have kept the disc in since I got the system a year ago and they are still mint? Where did you get this info of needing to take the disc out?
|
relax guys its a myth.
Every disk Ive left in my 360 has no 'rings' on it. If yours does it, its broken. |
I got my 360 back last night and got some good games of R6 in. It looks like they replaced my DVD drive and supposedly gave me the same console back. Works like a charm now.

Looks like there is a date in place for Castlevania: SOTN for the marketplace. According to Kotaku
the 360 version looks to be a spot-on port of the PlayStation version. The title hits Xbox Live February 10th Sub-question, what other GBA/DS titles in the series would you recommend based on the paragraph above? |
Symphony of the Night is fantastic, especially if you like the GOOD Castlevanias (1, 3, super castlevania, etc)
In that title, you are Alucard, son of Dracula. You search through the huge castle, fighting bosses that could easily be the coolest/best in the series. The weapons are varied, and you really won't find yourself using a whip. I also love Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, and Portrait of Ruin. If you've played any of those just mentioned, you'll love every other one mentioned, as well as Symphony of the Night. |
I tried my 360 today for the Gears update. That didn't appear to be in place as of 6:30am EST. I turned on my 360, got an update when I was in the dashboard. Then put in GoW, and the game started and didn't alert me to any update.
|
i got an email from microsoft this morning that said it would be available 01/10/07, so that could easily be the reason
|
The press release said Update today 1/9. Free maps come out 1/10.
I didn't get an email from microsoft though. |
