On the main channel page, click the bottom right hand round button (Wii message board). Then on the next page, click the 3rd button on the bottom left side. Then click on the address book on the right side. The first page of the address book should list the Wii code (you may have to click the left arrow to get to the front first page of the address book).

Cool. Best I've done is 8 and that was when I got the system. I hadn't played WiiSports in a while and popped it in this week and could only get 3.

Something cool I noticed with the custom soundtracks in Excite Truck. The game remembers the last song played on EVERY track. Meaning you can go through and set a personal song for every board in the game and never have to hear the in-game music or go to the menu everytime you play.

It doesn't reset either when you turn off the Wii. I am doubtful it remembers if you pull out the SD card though. I haven't tried it yet.

Very simple but cool feature.

I finally did this as well. I had been playing the regular baseball more and it seemed to sharpen up my eye. Although I have noticed they pitch faster at the end of the derby, and I can't tell you how many times I was 8 for 8 or 9 for 9 only to hit the last ball foul to the opposite field. The time I finally did it, I was about 5 feet off the foul pole.

Yeah pitch #9 is usually around 74 mph, and pitch #10 is at least 80mph. I smoked the 10th pitch into center-right field (I'm a lefty).

Question: Is the 'news' channel supposed to be working right now?

When I click on it, it says I need a system update. But when I click 'update' it says I've got the latest update, and the news still won't work. The weather channel does work and so does the shop...

Oh, it doesn't stop at 10 for 10. If you are 10 for 10 with enuogh total distance, you will receive a platinum medal instead of a gold.

So if you haven't already obtained the platinum medal, you might have a few more swings in you yet.

What channel is your router set to? Try channel 1 or 11.

Experienced the same problem, changed the channel and it's connected without a hitch ever since.

Good grief, I was over 5000 feet in total distance, so what would get you into platinum status?

That is correct. News goes live on the 27th. Maybe a day or so early if it is like the weather channel.

I don't know exactly. I believe mine was over 5600 total when I got the platinum medal. So perhaps the cut-off is 5500.

268. I had 8 strikes in a row to start, but as I predicted in frame 4, I screwed up 9 and 10 (spares).

I don't think I'll be able to bowl a perfect game. Too much pressure.

I think I started with a spare, but faltered in the 10th frame.

The one I posted above is on sale($20) today: Kingston Travel Lite Reader + 2GB SD card

That is strange. Are you putting it in a powered USB port? It won't work if you use the ports on the keyboard.

Did you try deleting your save(s) from the Wii and then trying the card in the Mac?

Can anyone direct me to the link that discusses the recall on the wiimote straps? I seached but couldn't find anything. I played some baseball with my neighbors over the weekend and all I could think about was the remote flying out of our hands and thru my 61" HDTV

Thanks.

Oh yes...

http://forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/...ssage.id=71130

Today Nintendo adds one of the most popular games in its library of classics to the Wii video game system’s Wii Shop Channel: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Nintendo adds new games to the channel every Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Super NES, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): Return to an age of magic and heroes. When an evil magician named Agahnim begins kidnapping young maidens in Hyrule in a quest to break the imprisoning seal on Ganon, a young boy named Link is called upon to stop him. Link must venture into twisting mazes, dungeons, palaces and shadowy forests as he searches for the maidens and Princess Zelda. Traversing both Light and Dark Worlds, he must navigate eight dark dungeons, fighting evil enemies and huge bosses. Help our hero prevent Ganon and Agahnim from shattering Hyrule forever.
It's up right now!!!

I've heard that Comix Zone will be up today as well.

Sweet! Doubt I'll get it since my GBA copy still works fine, but great to see the surprise!
