has anyone else been unable to make a facemapped character?
i have pretty long hair, which i've determined to be the cause.
do i need to make a female character? or are there plans for a patch for this?

i'm really bummed i can't use big features because of my physical appearance.
what are females going to do, as well as the other millions of guys with long hair?

I made a custom face and it was pretty accurate.

My character had a shaved head when I made it, it didn't try to put any hair on the face at all. I don't know if you can put hair on the character though. I didn't play with it too much once it mapped my face in.

It did get my goatee right.

damn, that kinda stinks. My hair is really long (about 5 inches down my back). I wanted to get this game too

My girlfriend wanted to map her face into the game just for fun, to see how it would turn out. It wouldn't scan the side of her face because she let her hair down. She had to tie it back in order to get the game to scan her, and I assume its because there was no ear to scan for a reference point.

I've also tried facemapping my dog, but it wouldn't let us. I forgot the message it gave us, but we were pretty disappointed.
