I just feel there is a real easy solution to this strap issue, don't let go of the controller. I just don't get all these issues.

I have never had the controller even come close to slipping out of my hand. You know where I have seen it? My friend's 5 year old little brother got a little excited playing and the controller slipped out of his hand. This kid is also a sweathog, even at that age, and that could have contributed.

I just don't see how a normal human adult could lose the controller.

I have played with the Wii a few times, and never even bothered with the strap, let alone have it ever come close to falling out of my hand.

I agree, they are tough to lose, my 7 year old did throw ours against the wall while he was playing though...
