Lost Planet (online demo)

I'm not sure if this should be in some random 360 thread, but I thought it deserved it's own place.

I'm sure most of you have played the original E3 demo of this title some time ago as I did. Thankfully, they threw us another bone and released an online multiplayer demo, which includes a heap of new guns, new mechs, improved grappling hook ability, and allows you to play up to 16 players.

I was initially impressed with the E3 demo, but I was afraid that with all the Gears of War playing going on, that this title would be overlooked. After playing some online matches, it has rekindled my interest in this game once again

Anyone else still not seeing this demo? It was supposed to be up on Thanksgiving but never appeared in my marketplace anywhere. I just looked again yesterday and still couldn't find it.

i played it for about 2-3 hours

1. they improved the grappling hook, which makes it very easy to get on top of buildings

2. they added about 3 different kinds of mechs in the one multiplayer map included with this demo

3. they also added about 5-6 new guns not included in the previous demo

I played Monday night and it was fun. I think it would be even more fun with people I know. One thing I hated was it was hard to tell friend from foe. In most games the enemy turns your crosshairs red. In LP, the username above the character is how you tell. Let's just say there were many betrayals and apologizing......

I guess. It didn't seem that different.
