Looking for OG Xbox games that run at 720p

It's a good thing I didn't get rid of this thing yet.. I'm looking to run something on my new TV at 720p so I can give the final verdict on keeping or trading it. I'm very happy with it so far on 480i (I suppose) and 480p (yum). But I need to make sure everything looks great in 720p now. I'm just looking for something that'll look sharp.. no Spongebob, Matrix or other cartoon/movie shits, but something I should be able to pick up used for $10 or less.

An online list would be optimal obviously, but I'll take individual suggestions.

Are you asking for original Xbox games that run at 720p? No Xbox game runs at 720p. Only Xbox360 games do. An Xbox360 will upscale original Xbox games to 720p, but no Xbox game natively runs at 720p.

Yes, that's what I'm asking and I'm pretty sure there are a few 720p/1080i games out there.

Wow, that hdgames.net database is nice! Thanks!

Soul Calibur II supports 720p! But only at 4x3. Still, I can borrow that one from a friend.

i'm glad you've found those sites helpful. i've been using them for years.

even though it's windowboxed, soul calibur 2 looks GREAT at 720p.

I thought HD gaming didn't start until this generation (360/PS3)? I thought that was the "big innovation" for the new systems, but there are original Xbox games that are HD?

Very few from the looks of it. Most of them I'd never touch.

hulk ultimate destruction is 720p, and it is only $10 at amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Incredible-Hul...8&s=videogames

The Warriors is also, but I have read that it really doesn't help the graphics all that much.

Soul Calibur 2 is 720p, but it is not widescreen, so it is cropped on the sides. But it is very nice looking.

Not sure if Dead or Alive Ultimate is 720p, but it is another gorgeous looking game to play in progressive scan.

I think the "big innovation" was ALL 360 and PS3 games being HD.

I'd check out Dragon's Lair 3D ... it does 720p as well as 1080i! You can get it at amazon.com for only $199.95!

Both Xmen Legends games were 720 and I think Willy Wonka was 720 too.

The only two I have found so far are Scarface and The Warriors and neither is much of an improvement in 720p. Most of the games look about as good on the Xbox as they can get at 480p.
