I'm off-line until the 11th, so I won't be able to add anyone else until then. I tried to get into the 1 wifi network in my neighborhood, but its encrypted. Grrr.

The only problem is those other people knowing that you are adding them. When I first got my Wii, I added a bunch of people who never added me back, probably because many had the thing a lot longer and weren't checking this thread anymore or had already run out of room in their address book.

But I think that's one of the biggest flaws to the Wii's friend system. I hate that I can add you but it won't send you a notification of that.

Agreed. Entering long numbers wouldn't be so bad if it didn't have to be reciprocal. And if it flowed down to game level (instead of having different game codes).

I finally got my wireless connection working again so hopefully the last few people I added will see me show up in black very soon. *fingers crossed*

I'm back online now that I have a new router (used to have a nintendo wi-fi connector and was waiting for nintendo to come up with a way to use it in Vista...which never happened). I still have a bunch of you on my address book, though many are grey. I still have quite a few open spots though and I have a bunch of Metroid friend vouchers just sitting here :D
