The fact that RS has listed units on their site should give everyone confidence of being able to pick up a unit Sunday.

I just got the same e-mail Evil received, I hope it isn't backordered.

Did anyone get charged tax when they checked out ?

Update : This may be good news, I checked my order online and it says status
items on hold till release.

I got the same email, but my credit card was already charged and considering it was eventually gone, I'm guessing it will be shipping soon.

This is great, I really didn't want a bundle or to wait in line.

I just spoke to a rep. I missed the first batch, and wouldn't be getting one until the next shipment so I cancelled my order. Grrr..Looks like I'm off to the stores tomorrow. I hope it's easy to find as everyone says it's going to be....

I just checked and was also charged on my cc, I hope they ship this week.

My order status says item on hold until release and i have a pending charge on my card...

I guess I screwed myself ... great. I've gotten two confirmation emails, but when I log in, it says my order has been cancelled because of a credit card error.

"Cancelled on 11/18/06 due to missing or invalid order information"

although they have not refunded my money, which is ironic because if they did I could wait in line and get one, I'm like 20 dollars just shy of 270 on my cc.

What the heck now mine says it was canceled also due to invalid info. I smell something fishy, I checked my card account and they had already charged it.

Well, I just checked mine and noticed it was cancelled as well. The pending charge on my credit card better fall off or I am going to be pissed.

How could they charge peoples cards and then cancel the orders. Now I have to wait to see if the money gets charged back before I go to pick up a Wii.

Will not be charged ? but I just checked my card online and they pre authorized my card already, isn't that charging ?

I posted the same thing at cag, but the gist of it is,
I got off the phone with a representative and they said they didn't have any units available and it was put up there by mistake. She said that my money will be refunded some time tommarrow. Which is great because the wii comes out in two days, not one. Thanks Radio Shack !

Scamming?

Tons of places have done this before, by accident. Best Buy, Amazon, Circuit City. It's a mistake, not a scam.
