Confirmed $47.99 for COD3 and F.E.A.R. Just got my COD3.

This was the first time I bought a game within a couple of days of release and now I am able to go online and not be like 1 year behind! :D

Sweet. I will be in the market for a wireless adapter very soon. Are they easy to set up? As for the Linksy one, is that one easy to set up also? Lastly, I have a wireless adapter that allows my laptop tp have internet access, can I use this one in any way for the 360?

You can't use the one your laptop is using. But, setting it up was a breeze. A 7 year old could do it.

What's funny is that these games seem like they're going to sell very well despite all the people who complain about the amount of in-game advertising you see nowadays. Most people I know that have a 360 plan on picking up at least one, if not all, of the BK games. Hell, I plan to get all 3 of them - a $4 Xbox game? Count me in!

But these are upfront and completely obvious about it. That's the attraction and why it is funny.

Exactly, I think these would fit right in on XBLA. Well, except that BK is trying to get us to go there and buy them with a meal. I only hope I can buy all three at once and not have to go back for 3 weeks in a row to pick them up.

Not sure if this is true or not, but I was reading on the GameFAQs board for Viva Pinata. Someone who has the game said that there are random hints displayed on the screen during the loading screen. One of the hints is "Use the D-pad for real time tool change and wallop Seedo's weak spot for massive damage!" rotfl

On this week's 1Up podcast, a couple of the guys had really good things to say about Viva Pinata. Sounds like Rare managed to sneak in some witty, slightly risque stuff that will entertain older players and go right over kids' heads.

Viva Pinata looks like loads of fun. I mentioned in another thread how I rented Open Season, that game is lots of fun too. It's really easy, but it's loads of family fun. I have everything done on it except the snowball level, I got all the way to 495 points but you need 500. I have done that level like 30-40 times now. I actually spent more time on this one level, replaying it for the maximum points, than I did to beat the game.

Does anyone have the wireless 360 headset? How is it compared to any of the wired ones?

Should I be worried about purchasing a 360? It seems like everyone online has problems with there system. I would hate to purchase it for $400 and then have it break 6 months later. Does anyone know what the failure rate is on them?

Wow, there goes all of Sony's "bang" on launch day. A 360 and 3 games for $100-200 less than a PS3??? How many people will be there working their way to the back of the line? :)

Half-Life 2 Slips Through Portal

Valve has sealed itself inside Team Fortress and you'll have to wait a bit longer to play all three games.

November 10, 2006 - Looking out across the game horizon, past the holiday season and into the new year, one of the most anticipated titles of 2007 is definitely the one-two-three punch that is Half-Life 2: Episode Two. Unfortunately, it looks like the game has slipped past its expected Q1 release window into summer of 2007.

According to CVG, Valve's Doug Lombardi has confirmed that Episode 2 has been pushed back again (it was originally announced as a holiday 2006 title). Specific reasons for the delay were not cited, but as the game includes both Portal and Team Fortress 2, we can probably chalk it up to the package being pretty darn ambitious.

News of a delay for an anticipated title is always disappointing, but it's better than being disappointed by an anticipated title's release.
