Well... looks like I will definantly be keeping the old GH game for my PS2, which is good since my guitar is modded and looks great

I wanted Bark At The Moon but the pricing for the games is a bit too much. I have a ton of points just sitting on my system but I am a cheap prick when it comes to spending them. I really want Boom Boom Rocket but I will probably talk myself out of getting it somehow.

I think they should have made the songs free for a trial basis, 3 days to a week maybe. Then have the system ask you if you want to pay for them. Try before you buy.

Man... I really want that RHCP, Bad Religion, and Incubus song pack, but not for that much. I might have a weak moment with the CC points card, but this is way too much money for this stuff.

That orange fret button just owns my ass. The Hard difficulty really separates the men from the boys. I think i'll just finish trying to 5* all the songs on Medium for now, i've got about 2/3 of them done so far.
Woman is kicking my ass on Hard right now. I was able to get Mother finished. I was ok with a 3*.

Yeah, I got slaughtered last night trying Woman on Hard for the first time. Those HO/PO kill me. I think I made it about 55% through the song.

That is where my Hard career took a halt.

I too think I made it to about 50% on Woman.

55% is the spot for me as well. The solo is just evil.

I jotted off a quick feedback email to Red Octane about the downloadable content pricing. Here is the link if anyone else wants to do the same: http://www.redoctanegames.com/0_contact.asp

Even if they don't have a strong say in the pricing, they could at least break up the songs. Or pass along the negative feedback anyway.

I sent one as well. I'm usually not one to leave feedback with a company, but this pricing structure is ridiculous.

If I'm not mistaken, there were 47 songs in the original game. Going by the current pricing structure, it would cost nearly $100 for all of the songs....nothing like screwing over everyone who doesn't own a PS2 and wants the songs from the original.

It's actually making me regret my purchase, if that doesn't sound lame

I don't regret getting GHII a all. Easily one of my top 5 favorite 360 games, regardless of the download content.

Does anyone else have any multiplayer audio issues? When I play with a friend, the second player can barely be heard. It's really annoying, but I think it's normal because I remember having a similar problem with GH1 for PS2 on a different tv.

I fired off an email as well. I think that the TOTAL cost to download the GH1 songs should not be any more than the price of the original game (without guitar) for the PS2. So, if that game sold for $40, then that should be the price paid to download ALL of the songs if you wanted them.

Outrageous price, but oh well. Once I finish it up, I know I'll end up buying.

I sent them feedback as well. I'm not nearly as enthusiastic to sell GH1 and 2, my guitars and my PS2 (the only reason I still have it) and get the 360 version. In fact, I doubt I will do it now.

Oh well, guess they didn't want my money again.

I'm hoping that by the time I'm done getting through what I want to finish in the game (nowhere near that now), the prices will have come down or there will be a different structure.

I sent off a note too, this really sucks, they were telling everybody that they wanted these d/ls to be cheap before the game came out.

Boom Boom Rocket is atrocious although I'm going to play it with the guitar to see if it makes it more fun.

And MS / Red Octane can take their DLC pricing and go eat a bag of dicks. A whole bag of 'em.
