I was checking it out and thought it was kinda cool to play some of these games for nostalgia. But at $10 a game I think that's asking quite a bit. Agree? Disagree?

It really depends on the title. A lot of the retro titles are $5, which is not bad, really.

Geometry Wars for $5 can't be beat! And there are definately other titles that have good Live play that you could get $10 out of.

Yep. Mostly it is the original titles that are $10. All the classic arcade titles are $5 along with all the card games. $5 for classics isn't bad, but considering last gen you could get a compilation disc with 20 games for $20 it does seem like a rip.

And yes, even though they are original titles, some, like Feeding Frenzy are not worth ten bones.

I've played thousands of matches of SFII:Turbo, so I definitely got my money out of that one...

Well seeing how I have bought 5 1600 pt cards this week for $4.99 each... no. No I don't .

Even without that, I don't think $5-$10 is too bad.

Yeah, I did that to. But I don't think I'd be jumping on buying any more points if I didn't get another deal like that.

Yes, the VC games on the Wii are very overpriced as well. I like the idea of making these old games available again, but when you are competing with free emulators that run very well on multiple devices its hard to pony up $5-$10 for games you already paid $40-$50 for in the past or spent a lot of money on in the arcade.

Granted the $4.99 1600 point cards do make the stuff on Xbox Live finally the price it should be.

I will say I think the Xbox Live system gives you the best value since they update the games to HD, add a great online feature and the achievement points everyone seems to like.

On the Wii this stuff seems like nothing more than paying money for the exact same ROMs people download for free. Not to mention they VC controller is not really setup to properly mimic the N64 controller. Not sure how playable the N64 stuff will be.
