Thanks, man. I had been checking the site regularly, but gave up after Wednesday! 11/17?! As if enough money's not already gonna be spent on video games that weekend. It'll be a sad X-Mas in my house for the kids as daddy is spending all of the X-Mas money on a PS3, a Wii, and HD-DVD player!

Anyone think they may put these up on the marketplace once the promotional period is over? I would not mind getting these with say marketplace points bought at a discount, otherwise don't know if I want to spend $12 on the 3 of these plus the food.

OMG Flay is a cheater!? Question, what sense of accomplishment does one feel when they cheat to boost their gamerscore? I think it's pathetic.. I mean, for me.. The gamerscore isn't all that important but I love to get achievements because it makes me feel like I've accomplished something in the game. to those who cheat...

Actually Flay didn't use cheated saves - he paid that service to get his score inflated.

Does anyone over the age of 14 actually care about lamerscores? They can cheat all they want, doesn't matter to me.

Game Achievements are a whole 'nuther thing. I think they help prolong the playability of a game by offering challenges to the gamer.

Considering I've been a self-proclaimed gamerscore whore for months, I can't imagine this would be too much of a shock.

I've used them in the past for a couple reasons:

1. If I had to review a game and I can't get past a certain point, I'll use a gamesave to move ahead in the game, which ultimately leads to more achievement / gamerscore unlocks.

2. It became addictive. Competing for the top spot on the leaderboard, however inane, was fun for a while. I'll never get up there, as I just won't trade accounts with anyone for Japanese or European gamerscore.

Anyway, it's an issue that needs to be addressed by Microsoft. That's why I posted what I did. The entire internet can call me an a-hole if they want. The more people clamoring about this issue, the better. Backlash City, here I come.
