It looks like Microsoft screwed up again, people are claiming the Kameo deck was up for free. Now the deck has disappeared from the market place. So for those few lucky people who downloaded it early you received a freebie.

I'm glad i checked DVDTalk while eating breakfast this morning. You guys save me (assuming it is going to be 100 points) a little over a dollar.
Personally though i wonder if it was meant to be free for people with a Kameo save or Kameo achievements. That would encourage more purchasing/renting of games if they released decks with that caveat.
Now we just need some collectible card game where you get cards from playing other games and unlocking certain achievements. It would be like a meta-game that would really rope in the collectors.

I downloaded the demo. It is pretty good except for the tremendous slowdown that occurs if there is any close quarters combat. Also the part where you can't see anything and have to use the thermal goggles sucks. The slowdown would be the deal breaker for me. NO way am I buying the game if they don't get that fixed.

I noticed that the Kameo deck for UNO had it marked like I had downloaded it before. I selected it and it asked if I wanted to reload it .. I did .. Nice little freebie considering the points raping we are taking over Lumines.

Doubt it. I've never played Kameo, at least not yet. So no saves here.

Now I'm sad I missed it.I wonder if there is a way to share it if you have one of those memory save transfer kits.
I like the theme deck ideas, but I don't want to pay for them. Thats why I never got the PGR deck for 100 points that has been out for a while.\
I checked at lunch, and there wasn't any mention of the deck theme in the dashboard marketplace.

What exactly did you hate about kameo? As far as platformers go I think Kameo is top notch.

Seriously, I thought it was cool watching my finacees little brothers and sisters playing the game (6 and 10 years old)
the shape shifting seemed like a gimmick, for a lack of a better term. It was like, instead of you being to use all the buttons, they'd have you switch shapes, and continue to use the same button.
It seemed like something that should have been on the game cube to me :/

yea, try assuming a little more while you're at it...
I was saying it should have been on the cube, since it seemed apparent it was aimed at a younger audience, and that it was easy enough for them

I was only going by the argument you provided. I guess I should have assumed that you were actually saying something beyond what you wrote...
So at no point you've assumed that Kameo was aimed at a "younger audience" or that it should have been on the cube because it is a "kiddie system"?
To satiate you, I believe Kameo was cube-bound before the whole Rare acquisition by Microsoft.

Kameo always made me laugh, it was a relatively standard action/platformer with kid friendly graphics and some insane violence. Great mix
Terrific graphics as well. Agreeably though, I couldn't get into the game.
Heh, and the "Cube is for kids!" battle always comes up. And then it splits down between the Nintendo character-based games vs. Eternal Darkness/Resident Evil 4/0/Remake.

how could you look at a game like Kameo, where you roll around, or punch people as a plant with boxing gloves, and not construe that as a "game geared towards a younger audience"
Thats not to say i didn't purchase Lego Star Wars II, and have that same kind of reaction, but its clearly evident...

I actually was enjoying Kameo until i got totally lost. I think in my current save game i came back to the main village and have no clue where to go now to trigger the next level.
I'm terrible at platformers.
