Difference between DS and Lite?
ok, so I've been out of the gaming ring for a while now. Just getting back in upon hearing of the new Wii and Zelda games coming out. I've been thinking of getting s DS or Lite for awhile now, but what's the difference? is the Lite a slimmed down econo-version of the DS?
any recommendations as to buy the DS or the Lite?
many thanks

Lite's smaller, a little more ergonomic and has a much brighter screen. I bought a regular off ebay for $65 last spring and after playing a friend's lite, I wish I'd held off and spent the extra cash to get a lite.

Get the Lite, best investment you will ever make. Better screen, smaller, sleeker, better stylus (this is a bigger improvement than most people realize), brighter! Did I mention it looks cool too?

The screen on the DS sucks--dark and colors look muddy, the screen on the DS lite is great--super bright and clear.
DS lite is also, smaller, ligher and has better buttons and D-pad.
It's a no brainer to pay the extra for the Lite IMO. And I was opposed to upgrading mine when it was announced.
Once you see the difference there is no going back.

Is there anywhere to purchase a larger stylus? I would love a pencil length one because the short one they give cramps my hand.

No, you don't need any memory cards, they save to the game cartridges.

And one by Hori:

Never used them so I'm not sure but its worth a try. The Lite stylus by itself is a bit thicker which helps with support.

If you don't care about it fitting inside the DS/DS Lite, just get a PDA stylus. They are longer and more comfortable and you can find them cheaper than official DS stuff.

What accessories are needed for the DS Lite? Someone I work with wants to buy one for their daughter, and wanted to know if a memory stick or any other accessory would be needed. Can someone let me know?
Thanks
Thanks

Much appreciated.
