Perhaps they are confusing "graphics" with Halo's art style: which is blocky characters, blocky Brutalist architecture, etc. But everything has a very nice amount of polish. Look at the vehicle models in the Spartan level of DOA: they looked incredible and that was a year and a half ago.
I think the sound is a huge improvement. It now sounds like REAL gunshots when they're far away: sort of a firecracker sound. If you're not near battle, it's a really cool effect.
My only question is if the covenant Sword will be in Halo 3. It's not in any of the maps.

Same here. Waiting for cooler chip and reports that it greatly lessens the red ring of death occurrence, a price drop and Halo 3 before even thinking seriously about getting one.

i was just making light of the situation. Considering my 360 just ate my gears disc, and my brother calling me yesterday telling me his console of 2 months old JUST did the same thing as well
