What program to fix videos to make them compatiable with XBOX360?

What program to fix videos to make them compatiable with XBOX360?

I am trying to stream my avi and quicktime files and other files so that my media center can stream it to the xbox.... but not sure which one to use...


any suggestions.

I think it needs to be WMA, but that requires Windows media center.

For .avi files you need a computer with MCE on it and a program called Transcode 360 http://www.runtime360.com/ . If your system is fairly fast this will do the trick and decode the .avi files on the fly, but it can bog down older slower systems.

If that dosen't work look for a program call Super. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=SUPER_1 This is a great program for converting all types of video files, but unfortunately you have to convert them individually before playing on the 360.
