OK, so realistically what could it be:
1. Wii news - but why before the expected date of Sept 14?
2. PS3 news - dropping blu-ray? A Core-Core unit for ~$399? Delayed everywhere?
3. 360 - HD-DVD add on built in? Price drop? FFXIII/MGS4 no longer exclusives to PS3?

Demo isn't needed to sell the game, but it might help still buzz from the PS3 (not that it has much right now) as people could see it and then decide they have no need for a PS3.
I doubt that is the news, but it was an interesting guess nonetheless.

I'm thinking it's Wii info of some kind, but not the release date. Possibly a price, or maybe just details of what exactly will be included in the box when you pick one up in a month or two. Some sort of little nugget of new info to hype people up for the main event which is coming up in a week. Probably nothing worth getting worked up over, but we'll know for sure in 6.5 hours.

Just because I already own one and the news wouldn't mean squat to me. 
Although it would be cool to see them live up to that promise.IF it happens to be a price cut how much can they possibly reduce the price?
