Plasma or Projector for HD gaming with the 360

Hello

I have a Panasonic Series 6 PWD 42" Plasma along with a Panasonic AE900 HD Projector.

I am going to buy the Xbox 360.

But first ... I need to know:

Which of the above will give me a better Picture Quality for HD gaming with the 360 ?

Thanks in advance

For what it's worth, I have a JVC 65" DILA and the Panny AE900U, no question: AE900U (if you have a dark enough room). Bigger is better.

I have a Sony 60" GWIII which has done just fine with response time and overall PQ. Got it dirt cheap too.

Id shy away from a plasma for a variety of reasons. I know that if you dim it down and calibrate it then burn-in is barely an issue. For me that wasnt good enough.

Projector by far. After owning 2 plasmas, both suffered from burnin when gaming. It sucks. I use my H31 on a 92" screen now and gaming has NEVER been this amazing before.

I've never had any burn-in problems with my Panasonic plasma and gaming, but the bigger screen size of the projector would be a big plus.

42" Plasma here, no problems with burn in. Maybe just some ghosting here and there, if the screen goes black, but goes away. Burn in is natures way of saying put down the controller and do something else

That, or put on the screen protection for 10 minutes while you take a leak and get another beer, which is what I tend to do

I have a Toshiba 57" rear projection set and just love it with the 360.

Projector for size

Plasma for daylight viewing

If you want to live in a dark cave, projector all the time. Bigger is better!

My friend brings his 360 over all the time and we play it on my Panny AE900. Playing the 360 on a 106" screen in high def is orgasmic.
