360 Price Question

I heard from a buddy of mine that they're dropping the price either the end of this month, or September.

I'm just about ready to break down and buy one myself so I was wondering if there's any truth to this rumor. Should I hold off? I haven't seen anything online, but he said he heard it on G4.

Thanks

No, they aren't dropping the price.

They have already started bundling the 360 with Project Gotham Racing 3 ($50 value), 1250 Xbox Live Marketplace points (just over $15), and a three-month Xbox Live Gold subscription card ($20 value) for $399.99, but just for our Canadian friends at the moment: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...est%5Fcookie=1

Won't be long before we see something similar in the U.S.

They're already gonna kill Sony in price for the $100-$200 difference, anymore would be huge.

No drop is going to happen. Just due to the fact that they are already $200 cheaper then a PS3. The bundle flay mentioned is rumored to come stateside.
