I too could use this. I need some points to change my gamertag and of course it would be nice to get a couple arcade games. I've been wanting to buy spades and hearts for awhile.

sorry to laugh...but did J break up with K or something ;-)

You should be able to get 1600 points for $19.99 at EB or even Best Buy.

Did Best Buy finally correct their pricing on points? They were selling the $20 card for $25... otherwise, you could use the gamer gift card to get five bucks off.

As a matter of fact:

J, that is me, had to get an order of protection against K, that is her.

I had a different gamertag on the original xbox, then when I got the 360, she told me that was stupid and to use one like jlovesk. So now that I am divorcing her, I am stuck with that name until I go get some points.

you can get $5 off ANY video game/accessory at BB priced $19.99 or above by using a coupon that is located on the back of their giftcards. The giftcards that have the coupon are specifically labeled Gamer Gift Card or something like that. they are usually found either in the VG section, on the giftcard display, or behind the customer service counter. I usually pick up 5-10 at time and keep a coupon in my wallet at all times "just in case"

The thing to be sorry about is that she took my xbox and 60 games I had with it.

I just hope I can get them back. Luckily I took my PSP and xbox360 and all the games and accessories with me when I went to file the order.

Remember that if you were on Live with the original Xbox it has your credit card number stored in it. If she has that system you might want to cancel the card to make sure she isn't messing with you that way as well. Sorry to hear how things played out for you

Hey DVDKrayzie, thanks for answering.

One more question.. are you just taking the giftcards and not actually getting a giftcard just to have the coupon? I found them today and felt a little crunchy just taking some. What are you doing exactly? heh.

depends. if i'm just buying something right there, i just take the whole coupon out and leave the GC in its case and bring that up to the register. what you could also do is take a few up to a register, put like $5 on each one and then go buy your item with the giftcards you just used and save the remaining coupons for later.

ugh, never thought about the MIB characters J and K. Oh well, I am down in the valley this week so I bought 1600 points at best buy. What sucks is the gamer gift cards they have are different now. They have seperate ones for xbox/ps and they require a $29.99 purchase for the coupon.

If your a New Yorker like myself and don't want to be charged tax when you purchase your points through your xbox 360, you can go to amazon.com and buy the 1600 card for 20.00 with no tax and free shipping (as long as your order is over 25.00) Now that amazon has dropped TRU as an partner, we can now get our video game stuff through amazon and have it qualify for free shipping.

Just a thought....

I looked around for like 10 minutes and couldn't find them anywhere, even went up to the front checkouts to see all the giftcards they had there. Perhaps the store I went to was out of them. Oh well, it's only $5, but it would have been nice.
