Typical cheater things you'll see.
- Lag happening at suspicious times when there was no lag before. For instance when you are trying to grab their flag or arm your bomb. Or, when they are trying to grab your flag or arm their bomb.
- The blue game connecting screen in the middle of a game.
- One or more people on your team being booted from the game and they did not lag out. (This is called bridging)
- Their team has super speed, super jumping, shoots rockets out of a pistol or sniper rounds out of a battle rifle, warthogs flying. Or, as happened to me in 2 recent games, you spawn in areas that you normally shouldnt be(like in the water on Relic, or flying above the map) This is modded game content.
That is the majority of cheats I've seen lately. It seems to be still happening, and blatent cheaters that I've reported and I know others report still keep playing. I have yet to see any real evidence of anyone banned because they cheated.

Because, outside of the cheating, Halo 2 is still fun.
I hope and pray that when Halo 3 comes out, they have built in measures that make it uncheatable/unmodable . Barring that, I hope they act more quickly to ban people. Plus, if they take advantage of the feedback system built into the 360, anyone that you mark as avoid you should never see in a game again.

They pushed up the CoD maps, huh? Originally they said it was going to be July. I think there are 5 or 6 new ones. That's sweet.

We've noticed a lot of blue game connecting happening the last couple of weeks. I just thought it was network issues. Plus, we'll be playing the game and then all of a sudden it's just us playing, no one else.
I cannot tell on the super speed or super jumping, because are there not spots in different maps that you can do super jumps? Because a friend came over and showed us one spot where he could super jump. We of course cannot remember where that was or how to do it, but our game is not modded.

Well, if the blue screen comes up and you get a message that someone left the game, that means they were the host and when they left the game, the blue screen comes up while the system chooses a new host.
If you get the blue screen and no one leaves, then that is when you know you were cheated. It means someone pressed a standby button on their modem.

Moore hints at plans for new Xbox 360 controller
Ellie Gibson 15:34 28/06/2006
"We've got to bring more people in," says MS exec
Xbox boss Peter Moore has hinted that Microsoft could be working on a simplified game controller designed to attract new gamers who might be intimidated by traditional joypads.
At a recent EA Community Event, Moore said the company is looking at "Any way that we can play and make games easier and more intuitive, that takes the intimidation factor away from what is a pretty complex device now when you look at the controller."
"Shoulder buttons, triggers, analog sticks, d-pads - I mean, there's a lot going on there."
Compare it to the old Atari 2600 joystick, Moore suggested - which "Everybody could pick up and have some fun with. Clearly I think the Wii is trying to get back to those days, although when I picked it up I was surprised how much stuff is on there, and it took me a little while even then to get going on those things."
But, as he's previously stated many times, Moore is a big fan of the Wii - and, he added, of "any innovation you can try and do that will make it a broader reach for games, because as an industry we've got to do that - we've got to bring more people in."
Moore went on to explain that his 14 year-old daughter loves racing games, particularly Project Gotham Racing, but "She's frustrated because the button configurations, the use of triggers... She just doesn't like it".
So is Microsoft looking for a solution to the problem of overly-complex controllers? Well, "We're doing a lot of stuff there," Moore said - but "Nothing that we're ready to talk about".
He went on to say that Microsoft is "not going to force anything that is not going to be intuitive and innovative" - which could suggest that the company is unlikely to follow in Sony and Nintendo's footsteps by producing a motion-sensing controller.
The full Q&A can be heard on GamerTag radio.

Yep. Looks like the motion rubbed off on Sony and the simple (lack of buttons) design rubbed off on MS. Quite the familiar tale on Nintendo hardware.

Wow, the Outpost deal just got beat. I just bought 1600 Xbox Live Marketplace points for $12.05 from DVD Empire with the Google Checkout $10 off $20 code. That's .0075 cents a point!
Jump on it while it's hot!
CD Universe also has the same coupon, but the deal isn't as great: $16.24 for 1600 points. Still under regular price though at about a penny a point.
