I've been creating matches too. Seems the only way I can get a game w/o it being timed out. So you have to play 20 matches before the game records anything? Hmmmm. In my personal stats I have 0 wins, 0 losses, ect. When in reality I have won about 6 matches and lost some too. Strange that those numbers are not even being recorded in my personal stats. I also keep on trying to check the leaderboards and they keep on timing out.

Ive played 25+ times easily.. Ill check my rank again. Ive yet to lose a game yet, my SF2 skills are much more in tune then i remembered! blitz6speed is my name on there, i have a awesome connection so whoever else does, its like theres 0 lag. Sometimes the lag is so bad tho, that you're forced to close the game entirely. Sucks. I love it tho!

yeah until my original XBOX gave me the red ring of death I had it and the 360 hooked up and on a Game selector. Switching between the two was no problem on LIVE.

Quarter mode is gangster, especially for pros, the only downside is it's unranked.

i love the quarter matches, only problem is i dont get to watch others cause i dont lose too often lol. I got ranked #8 then i got my first loss, to a vega. I decided to take a quick breather. As of now im #12, but im going to make sure i climb up the ranks hard and fast. The game is freakin AWESOME tho, and damn, i pulled a standing fierce->roundhouse blade kick with guile on the 360 pad, not too shabby lol. I was just showing off cause the guy i was playing sucked, but was shocked the pad could do it pretty smoothly.

Honestly, all the bs till now, all worth it. I love my 360 and SF2 online. I also ADORE the fact that the stretch lets you do the full 720p res with no bars. MAGNIFICENT!!!

Ok, thats almost 5 hours strait. I cannot get enough of this game. Sitting in my poang chair with footstool playing wirelessly and seeing it all on a 82" screen via FP, it just DOESNT get any better. I schooled so many people today, i got a few very upset, and a lot motivated. Let me know when you guys want to setup a DVDTalk challenge.

Yeah, I knew you could buy points straight from your unit from day 1, but the part that confused me was that you made it sound like you got some kind of deal, that it was less money per point. I have done the math before, and no matter what tier you buy your points from, it comes out the same amount of money per point. (unless they changed something?)

You are right. I've done the math as well. Buying over the system is point for point the same price as buying a card.

Unless of course you get a deal on a card somewhere.

I think he was considering it a better deal due to many stores marking the cards up. I know around here i almost solely see the 1600 point cards being sold for 25$ and tax. So buying them online tax free is a better deal.

It would be nice if Microsoft had some discounts for points occasionaly over Live, but I doubt we'll see that happen any time soon.
Rather than having a point giveway like they had several months back (I think it was sponsored by verizon), it would be nice if they teamed up with a company to sponsor a sale on them.

I'd rather see price drops on older games.

Not sure why someone would pay $25. You can get them cheap usually online. I've seen them for $15 shipped from OUTPOST.com. Heck, even Best Buy sells them for $19.99 now...some use the Gamer Gift Card for $5 off.

Very true. Bear in mind though, there isn't even a Best Buy in this state (unless one opened within the past 5 months or so). Places like Ebgames sell it for 25$ and i believe Circuit City does as well. I have seen people buying them. That's why i buy all my points through the Xbox or wait for deals like the Google checkout thing.

The closest store is about 20 miles away*?

*$3 = 1 gallon of gas = 20 m/p/g (average car)

Well guys, I haven't used my 360 in months for the most part. The last time I really got on the marketplace to check out everything was back when the Full Auto demo first hit. So, it would be an underestimate to say that I'm shocked by all of the demos that available now. I can't wait to dive into all of this, and for the love of God, I can't wait for Dead Rising. Any advance word on that one, or reviews yet?

Well there you go. A lexus and a beamer. No wonder why you don't sweat $5. I wouldn't either.

I just noticed that we can finally do other stuff while we download.

Boy, I'm way behind.

Yeah, it looks like it. Is there anything that I should know from the past two months or so that you can tell me about, without me needing to go back and look at post after post in this thread?

Some show on Starz had a review of it, gave it a 4 outta 5. That said, I don't know anything about their review quality - but the game looked fun and ran well in the gameplay footage they showed, so I'm there.

Have you guys checked out the list in the newest OXM of all the games supposedly heading to the Arcade? There are some interesting things there. I'm excited for that game called Small Arms now, it looks to be like classic Worms.

Don't get OXM. Any chance of a scan or typing up a list?
