I did for a while after getting my 360. Then, though a nice sale, I got a HD TV. It makes a world of difference in the clairity of the picture. Of course, it helped that I went from a 25" tv to a 50" tv.

Yes, of course. HDTV adoption is still ~25% from what I hear.

I bought an HDTV a month or so before I bought my 360. I have a Sony A10 42" in my bedroom. One of my roommates has his hooked up to his Dell 24" LCD screen, and the other has his on the 65" HDTV in the living room.

I have played with guys on live who say the graphics are awsome on stv also, but I love my HD. The 360 is better looking than my HD receiver for dish network even.

I waited to get my 360 until I got a HDTV. If you're buying a high-definition gaming system, you really should get a tv that can benefit from it.

I was playing on a 55" HDTV and upgrading to a 62" HDTV, mostly because of the 360.

I bought my Philips 60" HDTV back in Nov of 2002.

I bought my XBox 360 in Dec of 2005.

Unfortunately the HD wasn't working properly at that time (the red component in wasn't working), so the picture was terrible. Luckily I had bought a 4 year extended warranty on the set and after much trouble and not having my tv for almost a month, I got it back fixed in Feb of this year.

The HD picture looks great. It is a clearer and brighter picture than standard definition. And I'm sure the picture will be even better when I upgrade my set in 4 years or so to a DLP or Plasma.

The guy i bought my 360 from was playing it on a 21" sdtv, and it still looked good on there. I use a 42" plasma myself and it looks freakin amazing. I wouldnt have bought a 360 if i didnt have something proper to view it on.

I play on an old 24" SDTV. I will get a HDTV within the next couple years when I get a better job and can afford it.

For #1, I'm assuming you mean 'front' projector and depending on the projector/size being projected/distance viewed...I'll bet the X360 looks better on #2.

Back to OP's topic: I'm playing X360 on a 61" HDTV.

A poll conducted in January said that 60% of Xbox 360 owners own some kind of digital television.

360 on a 55" Mitsubishi. Looks frickin' sweet. Can't wait to see how some of the next crop of games looks (I'm looking at you, Gears of War!).
