Wow.. I seen this in last month's issue of OXM and just watched a video from teamxbox.com... Looks pretty flippin awesome.. I'm not a big fan of games you have to order people around (I like COD more because you don't have to do that) but man.. This came looks SAAAWEEET!!

So, will you be picking this up?? Whenever it is that it comes out (4th qtr 2006).

Brothers in Arms has never looked so good and it seems to play well with the 360 controller. It became a must buy for me after seeing it in action at the show.

Sorry I didn't post this sooner but I just happened to read this a few minutes ago. In the newest OXM, they have some article about achievement whoring and in a little caption at the bottom of the screen, it states: If you have Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway, make sure to play it on September 17 (while connected to Live) to get the "Remember September '44" Achievement (50G).

So there you go...a quick 50 points if you have this sitting on yourself. And I don't know if you can get this by changing your calendar since the mag mentions having to be on Live to get it. I just tried it and it gave it to me immediately on the menu screen without even having to load the game.

I know many of us have this from the recent BB sale when we were able to score the LE edition for 5 bucks.

Considering the recent deal at BB for this game I figured more people would be talking about it. It's not a bad game really. It's just another in the long line of WWII FPS games. COD2 was great COD3 was marginal. I'd say this game is no worse than COD3.

I would think that you could disconnect from Live, change the calender, insert the game, get the Achievement, then sign in and it should be fine. That's like the money-making trick in Fable 2.

I hope the work around works or I will be pissed I missed a 50G achievement for basically opening a game in my backlog

Same, I still have this unopened from the Best Buy coupon deal a while back.

I got the PS3 version when it was cheap, and the game has no trophy support, so no free points for me.

I was on vacation from 9/16-9/22 so I gave this game and my profile to a buddy who was going to log in for me. Well, of course he logs in on the wrong day! Doh!

it has been another year, and now is the time to get the 50 achv for just loading the game up on sept 17th....do it now! Join Decker, as this is the only achv he seems to have for this game...LOL...
