Wii Preorders?

Does anyone know if any retailers are currently accepting preorders for the Wii? If so, how much down? I'm thinking I'm going to put this one on preorder ASAP.

I'm sure most game stores. Places like GameStop can usually create a reservation for you, even if it doesn't exist in the computer. I think their system reservations are $50.

EB Games/Gamestop isn't doing them yet. As far as I know, we have no way of manually creating reserves. Some stores will do a "pre-pre-order" list where we take your name and number and call when the reserves start, but that's up to each store to decide.

There's a generic reserve sku somewhere in the 99s. At least there was a couple years ago.

Corporate doesn't push it because it's not counted with the weekly reserves.

I'm pretty sure they took that off, since they've merged our computer systems and we have new programs and such. Corporate actually told us not to take PS3 preorders yet, so if we even had a generic sku, it probably wouldn't look good.

I asked just out of curiousity and they said that they wouldn't take preorders until Sony stated how many they would be able to ship to them.

All the ebGames and Gamestops in Wichita aren't taking them either. They don't expect to for another month or so.
