Any reliable online stores doing pre-orders now that release date is out?

I'm sure you'll know as soon as they are available. Most stores are waiting until after E3 it seems.

I guess they could, same $50 down would hold your reservation and do it first come-first serve. But after the 360 fiasco, I'm sure everybody and their brother would be in line.

But, typically, the retailer will just enter a price that is at least what it'll be. They could always but in a $999 price and just tell the customers it'll be less than that.

360 preorders were going on long before the price was announced. The real question is how can they take preorders before they have any idea how many they're going to really get...

They dont need a price , they need dates.

Now that they know they can start once the sku's are created and put into the systems. Prob will be up and running tomorrow.

EB and Gamestop are not taking reserves yet. Some of them let you put your name on a list to be notified when they started taking them.

Gamecrazy started reserves awhile ago. It's $50 down. A month ago I asked them about it and was going to do it, but they already had 30 people who preordered and I know they'll probably only get 12 systems like with the 360.
