Logitech Wireless Controllers for PS2/Xbox

Hi

I have both. The ps2 one is 100% flawless and has 0 lag and plays everything perfect to the T. The xbox one however, isnt anywhere near as responsive, its laggy and kinda sux. Its pretty pricey like the ps2 one, which is why i had good faith in it and bought it without testing it. Is it like that for everyone, or do i have a defective unit?

I owned two of the Xbox ones and didn't have any lag issues.

I have one of each also. The PS2 model does seem like it's built a bit better, but neither has ever had any lag issues. They both have worked flawlessly since I bought them.

No lag, but I just wanted to say that I still think these controllers still retain some of the well-earned pejoratives that third-party video game accessories have been known for since the dawn of time. I just had to buy a new PS2 controller because the one I bought before was unusable.. not in its wireless abilities but in its build. The buttons were sticking like hell, the D-pad was so loose it was hard to use and the already loose analog sticks also were also troublesome to use. This was only after a year of use, mind you. I really can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to finally have first party wireless when the PS3 hits (not that it's likely I'll be buying one for a while.. but still).

My Logitech xbox controller works great. It was a $20 refurb too.

I had one for my Xbox, before I got my 360, and LOVED it. It was the best thing I ever bought for any system I have owned.

If I were you, I'd just call Logitech. I had a problem with my Xbox controller (my X button stuck) and I called their CS number to report the problem. They sent me a brand new controller for free (yeah, it's silly-looking silver EA Sports model, but still it works great).

My Logitech one was AWESOME. I had ZERO problems with it and the freakin batteries lasted over 6 months!

I have both PS2 and Xbox logitech wireless control pads, they both do not exhibit any lag.

However, the PS2's X button stop bouncing back up after about 3 months of use (mind you I don't abuse the controller). I took the controller apart and found the underlying plastic piece for the X button was torn. I will not buy another Logitech control pad. They are pretty flimsy internally (unless I got a lemon).

But when it worked, it worked great. I stop using my xbox one because the analog shoulder buttons do not have enough range, I cannot play the 2K series of basketball (free throws) or control as well in racing games.

There are two versions of the XBox controller. Make sure you get the newer one. The one you don't want was called "Logitech Cordless Controller for Xbox". The one you do want is called "Logitech Cordless Precision Controller".

I only have the PS2 one and love it.

You should return your Xbox pad for another one, or call Logitech for warranty work.

Thats what i thought. Both are precision controllers. I'll get in touch with Logitech and get it squared away.

I owned both and had no problems at all. I still use the PS2 one, but went back to the S controller for the XBOX.

they suck. All 3rd party controllers do, but these are the closest to good. use the xbox one on any game that requires 1 button to be hit in rapid succession (street fighter), they only work half the time. I went through 4 of them because I heard such great things about them and thought I just had a defective one, everyone did the same thing (that's the only game(s) i ever noticed it on though, other games didnt require that kind of button pressing), otherwise they worked fine for halo and such. The PS2 one is good except for games that require you to hold in the shoulder buttons while hitting the regualr buttons (onimusha 3 ,shadow of colossus) sometimes the pressing in of the shoulders would just "give out" for a split second after a while--causing you to fall off a colossus.
