PGR3 on Xbox 360 disc problem

Hi guys,

I received my copy of Project Gotham Racing 3 in the mail yesterday all the way from Australia (Xbox 360 hasn't been officially launched in South Africa yet). I put the disc in my 360 and the dashboard just says that it's trying to read it all the time. I took the disc out and noticed a very small dent. By very small I mean I really had to look hard to find it. Before I send it back to Australia and have to wait a month to get a replacement, do you think the boiling trick might solve this? I'd be overjoyed if it worked - I can't wait to play this game!

Cheers
Sarge

FYI: This thread is probably better suited for the "Video game talk" forum board.

Probably because he's new and didn't know he could do that.

If it takes that long to get a replacement, I'd try it just to see. It can't damage the disc anymore than it already is. I've tried this with a DVD before, and while others have reported success, it didn't help me any. Good luck.
