don't worry I suck at gaming so that wouldn't be hard to do. I was just saying that HALO was a great anger outlet at that one time.

I hear ya. I'm a closet road-rager that doesn't act on my impulses, but I find Burnout Revenge to be a heaven-sent gift when I get home from the wonderful NYC commute. Getting behind an MG42 in COD2 helps as well sometimes.

My decision to game is usually a function of how much mental energy I have at the time. With my hectic schedule, a lot of times when I have a few spare hours I don't have much interest in gaming as I'm just mentally exhausted, so I'd rather just turn on the TV or pop in a DVD where I can just sit back and veg out.
Other times I'm not as exhausted and like getting imersed in a game that requires some thought.

Nowadays i hardly even play console games anymore, i spend the majority of my gaming on MMORPG's. I don't have much in the way of RL friends, but MMO's allow me to make friends all over the world to hang out and do stuff with and never even have to leave the house.

why do I play games? To have fun.
Right now at home we have a PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC. We also have a PSP and a pink GBA SP (for my daughter, she plays some games in the other consoles too and in the PC).
We also have a lot of board/card games Monopoly Princess Edition (again for my daughter, although all the family plays the game), UNO, Wig Out!, etc.
Right now we are playing UNO almost daily, and I play any of the console/portable daily too.

I play games because it is fun, there is not much on TV most of the time, I do read a lot. Its just something diffrent to do and I get to kill stuff.
