Is anyone else as unfortunate as me.. I'm playin my 360 on a 32" SDTV
.
Man, I wish I had a widescreen HDTV. What's everyone else playing it on? How much better is it in HD?

27" Standard 4x3 television. I had money set aside to buy a nice HD TV.... but then the money paid for the daughter we had. I have yet to save up more cash for a HD unit.

I just got a Sony 42" projection lcd, KDF-E42A10, a few months ago. That is in my bedroom. In the living room, my roommate has his Toshiba 65". It's a rear projection, but I don't know the model. It's about 4-5 years old. I love my 42". Great picture and was a good replacement for my 9 year old Toshiba 35".

I guess people do mind posting the price they paid..
xmivux, I feel ya man.. Just had a daughter myself. She's 3 months old.. Hard to get any gaming in too..
I know nothing about the current techonoligies in TV's as I have yet to really look into getting one do to the fact that will most likely get shot down.. What would be an average price on a descent HDTV in the 40" range?
$1 - $2,000?

I know CompUSA has a 52" Mits LCD RP HD for around $2000. Mitsubishi has a good reputation in the TV market.
You have to ask yourself a few questions:
1. How much space do you have for the TV? (People still say the LARGE Rear Projection give you the best picture...just HUGE)
2. Budget? (yours seems to be $2000 max)
3. Technology? (LCD/DLP/RP....1080p (good for Ps3 or HD-DVD)

I switch between two different sets. JVC I`Art 48" Rear Projection widescreen HDTV, it cost me $1400 over two years ago. The set has a very nice picture considering what it is. I don't remember the model number right off hand.
The Other (and far prettier) is a Samsung 17" widescreen Monitor/HDTV Model 730MW it cost me $350 from Tiger Direct, and it's freakin beautiful. If you'd like to see one go to your local Meijer 360 Kiosk.
I may purchase the Samsung 40" LCD that BeanDip mentioned in his post above but that won't be for a few months.

I'm using a Panasonic 50" TH-50PX50U plasma.
I don't think there's a DVI adapter for the 360.
1080p is the highest resolution televisions offer nowadays, although next to nothing outputs at 1080p.
