Yes, you need to have Animal Crossing on, then go to your gates and have the guy on the right open your town gates. From there you can keep your DS in sleep mode once connected to the Nintendo Wifi.

(By late at night, I mean around midnight.)
Because I really have nothing else to do at that time.

I usually play every night between 12:00 and 1:30AM, Central time. Because I play so late, I usually set the clock back around 4 hours, so that I can actually go to Nook's store.

Every once in a while I'll play during the day, but not very often.

okay the bottle mail works like a spider web, so you sent it out so when you connect to someone else it could be sent to one of their friends or move on to a friend of a friend of a friend etc.

turnips are on sunday morning, you buy from joan and then you need to put them on tables in your house or they will go bad. joan only comes to sell in the morning on sunday i think it is 6AM to noon. then nook has two prices each day the morning price and after noon to close price. moring is 8AM - 11:59AM and 12:00PM - 11:00PM is the other price.

if you can't get a good price to sell at just keep em they'll last forever on the tables in your house, i held out 3 weeks before i sold my load when the buying was at 300. oh yeah you buy low like 90 or 100 and then sell to nook when he is buying high 150+. i usually don't sell unless its 200+ but you'll figure out what you'll do when you get some.
