Ok, I posted this on Animalxing.com a while back, and people liked it. I just wanted to share this with ya'll, but I didn't feel like re-typing it, so here it is in its entirety:
I had an idea for playing a game like CounterStrike on WW. You have 2 teams of 2: one team is Terrorists, and one team is Counter-Terrorists. The terrorists can don whatever they wish to make them look like terrorists, and the Counter-Terrorists or CT's can dress in the military uniform and combat helmet (with an eye-patch, if they wish Razz ) I'm thinking the game should be played like this: Both teams have a base to start from (marked out by a 3x3 pattern area on the ground), and there will be 2 bomb points for the terrorists to "plant" the bomb. The bomb will be the stopwatch, which can be set and then be buried, and if someone digs it up they can stop the timer, thereby defusing the bomb. Things I still have to figure out: 1)The bombing points. These are areas where the bomb must be planted. The bomb can be planted anywhere within the area, but wherever it is it must be planted in a bomb site. I'm thinking the bomb sites could be marked off with a group of "X" patterns or something, where a 10x10 or larger area would be marked off by placing "X" patterns on the corners. Then if you wanted to be fancy you could even make patterns with the letter "A" and "B" for the bombsites, like in the real game ^_^ 2)Hindering opponents. Sadly, the slingshot can only aim for the sky. What I've come up with is Pitfall seeds, hitting with the net, hitting with axe, and digging pits around key areas. Any other cool ways of hindering opponents would be greatly appreciated if figured out... something akin to shooting them with a rifle and killing them, but not quite, so as to keep Animal Crossing's G-rating. Anyway, once a method of stopping opponents is figured out, then whatever that method is, once it is used on a player, that player would either have to go back to base and continue playing, or just be out for the match. That would be for being hit with an axe or slingshot. One way of hindering opponents is digging trenches. They have to be filled before they can be crossed, so if you dig them around the bomb, or on the other side of a bridge, it can take them longer to get to where they need to be. That would most likely be a terrorist tactic. Also, pitfall seeds are like the ultimate trench. The cool thing about that is that they are kinda hard to find, so if you have a large stash of them, it would be like, your team's secret weapon. Also Also, if the terrorist team wants, they could bury a useless object at bombsite A and then bury the real bomb at bombsite B, confusing the CT's. There are tons of possibilities! How about rolling a snowball over what you buried? Wink So, that's what I got so far. Please post if you have any comments/suggestions/etc. I think that this game could be really fun, and it would be cool if people began to think up more games to play with people on WW. That sounds pretty funny. So how would the timer work? And what happens if you get hit by a net or axe? Do you have to go on the honor system to take yourself out?

The timer works like this: When you get to the area you want to plant the bomb (timer) you set it for however long you have agreed beforehand. Then you dig a hole and bury it, and it will continue to count down even underground. The countdown appears on everyone's screen. Dig it up and stop the clock before it counts to zero! I've tried all of this before and it works perfectly!
If you get hit with the net, you will know by the sound that is made and where the net stops (it will stop moving when it touches his/her head.) With the axe, the axe weilding character will bounce backwards following a direct hit, and a springy sound will be made. Once hit, you follow the rules that are laid out ahead of time. You as a group can decide whether you get to "respawn" at your base or if you are completely out, in which case you could just go chill at your friend's house or something. Visit some animals. Idk. Most of the game is the honor system. But that depends on who you let in your town. I for one feel as though most people would be pretty good about being honest. Yeah. Can someone visit?
Can someone come visit me? My gates are open and I'm trying to test my WiFi. I haven't seen any gates open lately and when I open mine, I don't get any visitors, I'm wondering if I have a problem with connection. The other day I saw BeanDipp's gate open but I couldn't visit his town.

Someone tell me that I'm not going crazy. I just picked up the DSLite tonight with AC:WW. I played for about an hour, but I had to quit. I'm not sure if its me, the DS, or the game.
First, when I was putting in my name and town name the cursor sometimes worked. I would type in a "r" then it would split out "rrrrrrrrrrrr". I was using the stylus to type the letters in. Same thing would happen on the backspace key. I would press it once and it would erase everything. Next, I started playing the game. As everyone knows, in the upper left hand corner, its tells you if you are using the stylus or the d-pad. Well, I use the d-pad. I'll have my character walking around then all of the sudden the character starts running NE on its own and the stylus symbol comes on. It was getting frustrating that I turn off the game. Anyone have a clue whats going on? Once I get this fix I'll post my info for Animal Crossing. |

i yanked some weeds at caphill yesterday. oh yeah you need to close your town and reopen it at a normal time, half your townies are sleeping :( so we can't visit. if you close and reopen it wakes em up.

I FINALLY HAVE MY WIFI CONNECTOR! Its been a terror getting it running, and I almost had a heart attack when i thought I lost my copy of Ac, but its running!
