Okay...did that. Now explain to me the deal with Friend Codes. Do I automatically have one for when I buy a DS. It appears there are codes for different games, correct? How do I learn my code for the various games?

Each game will assign you a different friend code when you connect to Nintendo wifi. You can find them in the menus within the game, sometimes in the Friend Code menu like if you were going to add a friend.

Is it always a different code everytime you connect or is it the same always? Thanks V-ism.

Do I have to be actually playing the game (Animal Crossing) for someone to visit or can I leave it in standy by mode (ie in the game but the clam shell closed) ?

It isn't magic, you actually have to tell me you've signed up and what your WiTendoFi account name is since they could be different. You're in there now, it isn't some great conspiracy against you

No problem, I did mention automatic updates. But that refers to your actaul tag once I've manually added it to the table. Any updates you make to your information on witendofi.com will automatically show up here. That's what I meant.

doh!!! Just noticed that. I did change my friend code, I had to replace my DS Lite, and it changed my friend code. So if anyone added me, you gotta update it!
