I vote for Wednesday and/or Thursday. It'll come out on a Wednesday, and that's already our XBLA night. And since Thursday is currently Burnout Revenge night and we don't really have many people still playing that (partly due to connection issues), may as well play it then too.

Speaking of which...is anyone really playing anything on Live besides COD2, Halo 2, and SFII? COD2 is about it for me right now. GRAW seemed to drop off after the overpriced expansion pack came out, and Burnout faded due to the aforementioned connection problems. I'd like to get more Uno time in, and I'm sure that Hold 'em will get a lot of Live love. :)

If you know the rankings of standard poker hands, you'll figure out Texas Hold Em pretty quickly. If you don't know poker hands, check this out:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_hand

The big difference in Hold Em is that each player gets only two cards, and then a total of five cards are dealt as community cards. You make the best hand you can between your two cards and the five community cards.

There's a round of betting after everyone gets their two cards. Then three community cards are dealt, then another round of betting. Then another community card and another round of betting. Finally, the last community card and the last round of betting.

I'm a Hold Em noob, but that's the basic gist of it.
