I hadn't heard much about Spore before watching the video above but wow...looks like the most creative and innovative game to come out in some time.
Anyone know when it's supposed to be released for the PC?

I have been looking forward to Spore for years, hopefully it will make it out this year.
Yes, it is believed a DS version is in the works, however, I believe you are going to want a PC, to truely enjoy this game. If the PS3 or 360 support a mouse then they would work as well. Revolution should be able to handle it stock I imagine.
Edit: That video is from last years GDC, which was over 11 months ago, so there has been a lot more development on it since then.
