I am sure that I am echoing several other people here, but for the big titles I make up my mind before they come out, usually pre-order them, and then check IGN and Gamespot's scores before picking them up. That means that your reviews never even hit my radar. Many games I just check the thread in the forum to see what the consensus is. It really doesn't make much sense to have official reviews here at all, because we're all up to the minute on our games, generally speaking, especially with the people in here who buy everything.
Where I think you could have a good niche is in focusing on smaller games -- things like DS games and Live Arcade games. I am much less apt to buy those on release, so I frequently check out your reviews on those smaller titles when they pop up in the top left corner of the screen. Halo 2? No, I didn't read your review on that. The new marble game you reviewed? Yeah, I read that.

hey when you guys play games online, it would be helpful to list your Internet connection speed and state if there was lag or not. i know on doa4 9 times outta 10 if you've got 256k up you'll have bad lag, itd be nice to see that in a review so we could compare.

They're basically just longer versions of the posts we get in review threads in the forum.
Thus I've just never seen much point in supplmenting my forum opinion skimming with these reviews inplace of the professional reviews in EGM, Gamespot etc. because they're more or less the same thing rather than a different, more professional perspective from reviewers that play tons and tons of games and work for the magazines and gaming sites.
Not that the reviews are bad per se, but just that they don't add anything to what I get by reading the forums IMO.

I don't. I stick to IGN or videogames.com because every time I would check here for a review of a certain game there would be no review for it so i gave up trying.

I was just browsing the review section and had a question.
Would it be possible to add another column to the review table for the XBL Arcade to list the cost(point value) of each game?
Sure there aren't a whole lot of games yet, but as more become available it would be nice to scan the list and see, for example, a highly recommended title & 400 points before I click on the review.

I voted no.
I don't really buy that many video games and if I want input on it, I check to see if there is a thread about it.
Like someone said before, it's a gut decision for me too. If I want to play it, I buy it.
In the future though, I might read a review or two.
